Abstract
This proposed research investigates how access to cold storage relates to income stability among Senegalese fish traders. It considers storage affordability, capacity, reliability, and distance from landing and selling locations. Trader interviews and sales diaries will examine relationships with spoilage, selling flexibility, and fluctuations in daily earnings. The research aims to identify storage arrangements that help traders manage perishable stocks and assess the operational barriers that limit their use of preservation facilities.
