This proposed research investigates the relationship between cooperative governance and member commitment in Rwandan horticultural cooperatives. It focuses on leadership accountability, member voting participation, information access, and benefit distribution. Member surveys and interviews with cooperative leaders will explore associations with meeting attendance, collective marketing participation, and willingness to maintain membership. The research aims to identify governance practices that strengthen member involvement and support stable cooperation in agricultural production and marketing.
