This proposed research examines the relationship between professional mentoring and career progression among female accountants in Ghana. It focuses on access to mentors, mentoring quality, professional networking, and guidance on career opportunities. Surveys and career history interviews will explore associations with professional confidence, expanded responsibilities, and promotion experiences. The study aims to identify barriers to effective mentoring and suggest association-led initiatives that support equitable access to professional development.
