Abstract
This proposed study examines the relationship between occupational safety climate and worker participation in Mozambican port operations. It considers management commitment, supervisor communication, training accessibility, and responses to reported hazards. Questionnaires and interviews will explore how these factors relate to participation in safety meetings, hazard reporting, and improvement initiatives. The research aims to identify organizational practices that encourage active worker involvement and strengthen the everyday implementation of workplace safety procedures.
