Abstract
This proposed research examines how financing arrangements for renewable energy influence rural enterprise development in Ghana. It will compare installment payments, microcredit, and cooperative financing for solar energy systems. Interviews and enterprise surveys will investigate affordability, electricity reliability, operating expenses, and business expansion. The study aims to identify financing approaches that can improve productive energy access and support the long-term viability of rural businesses.
