Abstract
This proposed study examines how workplace ergonomics relates to task performance in Ethiopian garment factories. It focuses on workstation dimensions, seating arrangements, lighting, and the accessibility of frequently used tools. Workplace observations, employee questionnaires, and production records will explore associations with physical discomfort, task completion time, and production errors. The study aims to identify feasible workstation improvements that support employee comfort and consistent performance while accounting for factory space and resource constraints.
